The Premiership returns tonight.
This evening we welcome Harlequins to the AJ Bell in what promises to be an exciting encounter as we battle for a top 4 place.
A warm welcome therefore to all the players, management and supporters who have made the journey north.
Last weekend saw us seal a place in the European Challenge Cup semi-final with a 20 – 10 victory over a strong Connacht side. We now need to start planning for our away SF in La Rochelle.
Away from the field.
Our SSSC final event of the season is the annual dinner and awards ceremony at the Corpacq stadium, Heywood Road, Sale, on the Tue 30th April. Meeting 1900 for 1930 start. Price is £35 per head. This a good opportunity for a delicious meal in the company of many of your Sale Sharks players. To book your place go to our web site and follow the link on there. Further information is on the site and we have posters around the ground.
On the site there is also a link to enable you to vote on several awards. So take your opportunity to help decide where our awards are to go.
This season we have redefined how we choose where we travel. Many of our away games have been switched to Friday nights which has affected our travel plans. We had a successful bus to Newcastle which incorporated a new pick up point at Milnrow. We will be running a bus to Worcester on Sat 13th April and booking is available on line. It is filling up fast so if you are interested book soon. Due to the Gallagher Premiership switching our last away trip to a Friday night the possibility of running a bus is doubtful. Bristol are doing their bit with tickets from £10 adult (£5 for concessionary supporters) to make it a party atmosphere. Tickets have been on open sale online via the Bristol website since 1st April.
