Sharks To Take Part In Challenge Vaquerin

Sale Sharks will be taking part in the Challenge Vaquerin during August as part of their pre-season preparations. Director of Rugby Philippe Saint Andre said, "Both will be tough fixtures but will help us assess where we are up to. The competition will also give chances to younger members of the squad to fight for a first team place.

Heineken Cup Groups
Sale are again in the pool of death in the Heineken Cup for the 2008/2009 season, sharing it with last season's champions, Muntser and two good French teams in the form of Clermont Auvergne and Montauban
