Fun Bus Travel 2008-9

Another season is almost upon us with Euro friendlies starting ina few days time.

Firstly the bad news - Prices have had to be increased, this is our first ever increase after 4 years. Whilst last season we managed to hold the price by down-grading to a cheaper coach, the huge increase in the cost of fuel has hit us all, not least the coach companies.

As a result we have increased the price to £25 for members, £35 for non-members and juniors remain at £10.

We will continue to use Bullocks coaches as they have served us very well over the past 4 years and we will occasionally use Mini buses from other companies if necessary.

For the past 2 years punctuality has been excellent, I don't think we've left anyone behind in that period. But please remember we will only wait an extra 5 minutes after the published departure time, unless you have contacted us in advance. If you are running late you can ring me on 07771758988 (but not in October and November see below)

Pick up points will normally be the same as for the past 2 years. i.e. Edgeley Park , Heywood Road , Sale and Sandbach Services.

N.B. Pick up at Edgeley Park will now be on the main road . Although the drivers have previously successfully managed to squeeze the coach down Hardcastle Road , the time will come when the coach will not be able to get through or damage may be caused to coach or cars.

During October and November I am being allowed leave of absence from this task as my daughter is getting married and my time will not be my own. For this period John Dagley will take charge of the coaches ably assisted by Dave Pocklington. For any match during October and November, John can be contacted on membership@salesupporters.co.uk .
