A
new season approachs and below you will see booking slots for the
first
few matches. But beware as yet Sky have not announced their TV schedule
so
match dates and or times may change. The dates and times quoted
are from the
club site, but currently the away clubs' websites are not quoting
dates or
times!
The
good news prices are unchanged.
After
last season I now know how other clubs' supporters feel having to
travel on a Friday night!
We
used a mini bus on occasions last year due to lack of demand, this
was I believe initially due to Friday matches and subsequently to
the teams form(or lack of it). Where necessary we will use a mini
bus again, although I am also trying to organise an alternative
bus of about 25-30 seats.
It
would help considerably if you could book as early as possible for
the coaches. On a number of occasions last season I had to change
to the mini bus, only to find supporters wanting to book in the
last few days before the match.
At
the early matches last season there were a few problems with punctuality,
thankfully this improved and gave us no problems later in the season.
But please remember we will wait no longer than 5 minutes after
the published departure time.
If
you have any suggestions to improve the 'fun bus experience' please
let
me know at travel@salesupporters.co.uk.
e.g. we have been supplying a bucks
fizz breakfast for a few years now, has anybody any alternatives
(at a
reasonable price) that are practical - bacon butties although highly
desireable would probably not be practical.
