Directions
From the North

Exit M1 at Junction 5 and take third exit off roundabout, A4008 (Stephenson Way), signposted Watford Town Centre. Bear left on dual carriageway, by-passing the roundabout, towards Town Centre. At next roundabout follow signs to Town Centre. Immediately ahead is the Harlequin Centre. Stay in the middle lane of the three-lane carriageway on the ring road. After the second set of traffic lights (Watford High Street Station is on your left), move into the left-had lane and hear left at traffic lights to Stadium. Look for parking at Watford General Hospital, where limited spaces are available to non-season ticket holders, or alternatively, stay on the ring round and follow signs for the Gade car park. The Stadium is a ten minute walk. Exit car park at rear (away from shops), turn left, then right onto Upton Road. Turn left on to Cassio Road, cross at 3rd set of traffic lights and walk up Vicarage Road pedestrian precinct. The Stadium is approximately 300 metres on the left.

From the West
Exit M25 at Junction 19 and take third exit off roundabout, A411 (Hempstead Road), signposted Watford. Continue for approximately 2 miles and at roundabout go straight across, then follow signs to Rickmansworth (A412). We strongly recommend parking in the Gade car park, accessed via the first turning on your left, Rosslyn Road. (For pedestrian directions from Gade to Stadium, see above).
From the South
Exit M1 at Junction 5 and take first exit off roundabout, then as north. From the East Exit M25 at Junction 21A and then join the M1 Southbound (J6). Exit at Junction 5, then as North.

Parking
There are no specific disabled car parks, however, passengers can be dropped outside the stadium and receive assistance from the stewards. Matchday car parks are operated by Watford General Hospital (next to Vicarage Road Stadium) and by the Watford Girls' Grammar School (five minutes' walk). The Harlequin Centre offers parking on the weekend although queues of shoppers leaving the centre can cause delays. The Gade car park is slightly out of town but less congested. Vicarage Road Stadium is a five minute walk from the car parks.

Gade - open 24 hours, 7 days. Level 3 and above - £2.50 all day
Sutton - 24 hours, 7 days. Up to 4 hours - £2.40
Palace and Church - open from 7am until midnight. Up to 4 hours - £2.40

Seating
There are two areas in the Stadium that can cater for disabled people in wheelchairs - the North East corner (above the score board) and in front of the Rover Stand South (behind the goal posts). There is space for 15 wheelchairs in the North East corner and between 20 to 25 wheelchair spaces in the South Stand. Carers and/or friends and family can sit directly behind these areas should people chooses to be accompanied. Tickets for both areas are concessionary at £15 each. Carers are also entitled to concessionary tickets and these also cost £15 each. Both areas are accessed via large gates, which the stewards open on production of a match day ticket. Tickets cannot be bought from the stewards on the gate.

Other non-wheelchair bound disabled people can sit anywhere in the stands. The Upper Rous Stand has about 4 steps to reach the seats. The Lower Rous Stand seating is reached by means of 10 to 15 steps. The South Stand is accessed by means of a side gate at the Stadium and there are seats available at ground level. Ticket pricing in these areas are the same as for disabled wheelchair users. All tickets must be bought via the Ticket Office and registered disabled documentation must be produced.

Disabled Toilet Facilities
There are disabled toilet facilities in the South, North and Upper Rous Stands (precise numbers unknown)

Catering and Bar Facilities
There are adequate catering and bar facilities within the ground itself. It is unclear whether these are specifically adapted to cater for wheelchair users. (any additional information on this matter will be added as soon as it becomes available).
